GRANTS for schools

A cause area that is particularly close to our hearts is supporting the specialist and mainstream schools in our areas supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across Wiltshire. The origins of our charity can be traced back to the desire of our founder, the late David McCance, to give something back to the schools who supported his own daughter with her additional needs.

We accept applications for grants from SEND schools, and also the increasing number of mainstream schools with specialist SEND units, to support their pupils with expenses outside of their everyday school budgets. These grants might be used for the purchase of equipment and facilities, or they may be used for a life-enriching activity or experience. Please scroll down to see some examples of recent grants.
